1. Tell us about your acting career.

I started acting in 4th grade. Until that point I used to love to watch movies and TV shows all the time but I didn’t quite realize this was something I could do. Once I did, I loved it and started taking classes and meeting people. Seeing myself on TV for the first time was so cool. In 2019 I won the Young Artist Award for the film I did called “A Thursday Drive”  It felt so amazing to be recognized for the work I love to do.

  1. What is your favorite role you have done so far?

I think playing a young Kevin Farley in “The Truth About Santa Claus” has been my favorite. I didn’t get to meet him unfortunately but I got to watch the scenes he had already filmed and try to make my actions look like his. That was fun and I really enjoyed working with the director, Chris Bayon.

3.   How did you break into the entertainment industry?

I was taking acting classes and while I was in class, my mom would sit in the lobby and talk to the other parents there and get pointers on what they were doing. That is how we found out about Backstage, Central Casting & Casting Networks. I was able to start working on student films which are a great experience and then I also did background on big films and TV shows for more experience and to see how everything works on big productions. I am still waiting patiently for my big break.

4- Was this something you always wanted to do with your life?

Once I found out being an actor was a possibility, yes, I knew right away this is what I wanted to do. I am also starting to get interested in geology (I love collecting rocks and fossils) and anthropology and I love history.

5- What do you love most about acting ?

I love creating different characters, working with directors to figure out what their vision is and how we can make it happen and I also love meeting the other actors and the crew. Each project is a big team effort and watching it all come together is so cool.

6- Biggest lesson you’ve learned being a part of this industry?

Biggest lesson is that it is not easy. It takes a lot of patience, a lot of auditions and rejections. You can’t give up because that next audition you get may be the one you book so you never know. It is frustrating at times but you just have to keep going.

7- Who or what inspires you to continue in your career?

My parents have been very supportive in my career and they support really pushes me to keep going. The Young Artist Academy is also a huge support for all young entertainers and having won a Young Artist award was really inspiring and helped me feel that I was (am) on the right path.

8- If you could work beside any actor/actress who would it be and why?

My top would have been Robin Williams (RIP). Now there is a long list of people I would love to work with but right now, top of my head, Danny De Vito. He is so funny! I have seen him in his many different roles and he’s great in them all.

9- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I am planning on going to college but I would love to have a role in a movie or TV show in 5 years. It doesn’t have to be a lead, it can be a great supporting character.

10- Expand on being a comedic actor.

Comedic characters are my favorite. So far I have gotten mostly bully roles but I want to do more comedy. Comedies are my go to movies and shows so that would be my ideal thing to work on. Maybe I could be the funny side kick character.

11- Do you see yourself in other types of roles?

I have been cast as a bully because of my height so I can do that type of role and I would love to be in a horror film at some point.

12- Tell me about walking with your two rescue dogs.

My dogs are Trina and Henry. They are both rescues so don’t know exactly how old they are but about 9 and 7 years old we think. They love going to the beach to run around and to the woods. They smell soooo many things that they just have such a good time and they like to chase a toy into the water. Trina likes to swim more than Henry. We have a few spots we can take them that not many people go to so we can let them run around. It is not as much fun walking them around the blocks even though they need but there is so much garbage and food scraps on the ground and they find it all and try to eat it. The special outings with them are more fun but I like walking with them anywhere and they are great company.

13- Tell me about playing video games with friends.

I have liked video games for many years and being able to play remotely with friends is even better. This past year during the pandemic, this particular thing kept us all from hating being locked up at home. We playing and joked and had a great time even though we couldn’t see each other physically.

14-  Why do you think video games are important?

I think that video games like books and movies are an escape from real life and that is important. They also provide jobs for voice over actors so maybe one day I can voice a character in a game!
